Federal Law requires moves over 100 miles to be charged by the pound. The minimum rate is 60 cents per pound. California State Law requires time to begin when we reach the pick up point for your items. California State Law requires licensed Household Goods moving companies to charge "double drive time" on moves billed by the hour. (The actual driving time between your pick up point and drop-off point is doubled which pays us for driving both ways.) Right Way Movers, Inc. is not responsible for traffic, road, or weather conditions; or the time required for truck scale stops or California border stops. Moving Companies are required by federal law to charge a “fuel charge”. Right Way Movers, Inc. does not pack your items. We will provide you with boxes, bubble wrap, wardrobe boxes or any other packing items you request; however, there is a charge for these additional items. We provide mattress covers for all beds at no cost to you. Please let us know how many beds you have and what size they are and we bring the mattress covers with us and cover them for you.
